Dr Jill Raggett is Emeritus Reader in Gardens and Designed Landscapes at Writtle College. She has devoted her life to encouraging her students to make better spaces for everyone to enjoy. Following her well-received talk on The High Line last Winter, Jill will be talking to us about “The Prairies of North America – a place in my imagination…” which will take a look at the restoration of a small area of the North American prairies, an environment that has so influenced contemporary planting styles, and how this has been reinterpreted in the Chicago Millenium Park – and closer to home, too.
