|Kim Hurst has been running The Cottage Herbery in Herefordshire for 40 years.. Using fresh and dried materials, her talk will cover a selection of aromatic plants and flowers that add perfume, scents and aromas to our gardens. Their uses in history and their uses today are a delight for the senses. The Cottage Herbery focuses on natural peat-free plants for healing and fragrance, and has won many awards, including gold medals at Chelsea. They can be found at farmers’ markets, plant fairs, and other horticultural events.
