As head gardener of Stourhead, Alan Power was a familiar presence on TV and radio, talking to us through the changing seasons. His descriptions of the Autumn colours were simply inspiring. After 25 years at the National Trust he has moved to the beautiful woodland garden at Derreen in County Kerry.
