Andy McIndoe is probably best known for the 37 years he spent with Hilliers Nursery. He was awarded the Veich Memorial Medal by the RHS in 2017 for ‘Practical Horticulture’ the principles of which are the mainstay of the 2 acre garden and meadow he has created with his wife Rosamond on a sloping hillside site. He now offers private consultancies, lectures and writes books. The visit will commence with coffee etc followed by a garden tour with ample opportunity to chat, ask questions or explore the garden individually. There will be Andy’s books for sale and also plants.

Following this we shall drive to nearby Mottisfont, the NT property which needs little introduction to, hopefully, see the roses at their peak, have lunch and wander at your leisure.
